Lesbian mommies, our fave

Lesbian polar bears on screen? The iconic animated children’s show Peppa Pig has introduced a pair of lesbian moms in a recent episode - the show's first same-sex couple in 18 year history of the show.

“I live with my mummy and my other mummy. One mummy is a doctor and one mummy cooks spaghetti. I love spaghetti,” says their bespectacled child. They also happen to be a family of polar bears. Chic! Unsurprisingly, Conservatives in Europe and the US are very unhappy about this - to which we say, go fuck yourselves.

Speaking of gay moms, Susan Sarandon recently declared she was bi on Jimmy Fallon. We already knew this, but this official announcement has MILF-obsessed lesbians everywhere quivering in their boots.

Lesbian adoration on the red carpet. The Emmys were on Monday night, but there’s not much to report in gay news from the event. It is important to note that the women of Yellowjackets were ROBBED - though my god they seriously slayed the red carpet and Jennifer Coolidge did a little dance on stage, which was in fact very queer.

We also got our annual sapphic red carpet moment courtesy of Sarah Paulson and Holland Taylor, who walked the carpet together. Eagle-eyed fans have noticed that one clip of the iconic duo seems to show them saying “you’re beautiful” to one another. Cue the squeals. Also, Meg Stalter rather iconically wore this dress, and Jean Smart helped Hannah Einbinder flirt with Zendaya. In other television news, Paper Girls (which features sapphic youths) was canceled by Amazon Prime last week, and Grown-ish now features the first Indian lesbian couple on American TV, according to actress Tara Raani.

The lesbian drama never ends. If you thought the Fletcher/Shannon/Becky drama was over, you were wrong. Fletcher performed her song “Becky’s So Hot” on Jimmy Fallon last week, and she wore the “Becky” shirt that Shannon and Becky created while hanging out with Jimmy backstage. You might recall that Fletcher made a Tik Tok indicating that she had bought one of these limited edition shirts, and clearly, she was not lying. (Meanwhile, Shannon and Becky have been living it up in Italy.)

Other dispatches from the little gay people inside the internet:
