girl twinks, lesbian music videos and dinah shore
Cheeky gays on the internet. Someone tweeted “girl twink from do revenge is the most butch girl twitter can see before getting scared,” and Talia Ryder – who plays said girl twink – reposted it on her Instagram story. A lesbian PA on Don’t Worry Darling said Olivia Wilde told her to keep a notebook and make a note every time Harry Styles did something sexy. (No comment.) Writer Bec Shaw noted that it was a good idea to put Melanie Lynskey in The Last of Us in order to get the homosexuals to watch, and she responded “awwww.” When someone interjected and said that she has straight fans too, she replied “That’s less exciting to me Matt.”
Dyke TikTok reporter Kendall Payne, who went viral for breaking down the Becky/Shannon/Fletcher drama, had a surprise guest in her latest TikTok. Also, Becky and Fletcher were both at Dinah Shore last weekend (Becky was there supporting Shannon’s friend, Zolita), and we’re dying to know if they had a run-in.
Speaking of lesbian singers, we have some new lesbian music videos for your viewing pleasure. Zolita released a video for her song “20 Questions,” which features several homages to classics like Black Swan and the “Baby One More Time” video. Xana released an epic music video for her song “19,” which is the final video in the “Jodie” trilogy, which also includes “Yellow” and “Kitchen Light.”
Also, we’re obsessed with this clip of King Princess and Florence Welch singing together at one of Florence’s shows, which killed Princess described as “16th century ghost queen sings to school boy.”
Speaking of queer singing we're watching this relatable interview over and over. Last Friday, Cynthia Erivo opened up about her sexuality during an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, further expanding on a recent Vogue interview where the magazine identified her as bisexual. Erivo said, “We don’t necessarily know the language until someone says these are words that you might want to use, these are expressions you might want to use, here is some space for you so you can speak about yourself without someone else telling you”. Yes. The two singers also joined in a duet of When You Wish Upon a Star, which Erivo sings in the new live action Pinocchio. While we don't intend to see Pinocchio, it was an incredible reminder that we are 1 year and 3 months away from seeing Erivo play Elphaba in Wicked.
